With a planned area of 8.39 sq.km., the park has been included among the top 20 national chemical parks in the comprehensive evaluation by China Petroleum and Chemical Industry Federation for 11 consecutive years (2013-2023). It is also the only professional fluorine chemical industrial park in the country. Biobay (Changshu), which is constructed by the park in partnership with Suzhou Biomedicine Industrial Park, covers a planned area of 1 sq.km. in Phase 1. Phase 1 project will be focused on introducing industrialization projects related to new drugs, biology and health with international advanced level. At present, a batch of high-quality projects have signed contract and made settlement, including WuXi AppTec, GeneHarbor HK Limited, Suzhou NanoMicro Technology Co., Ltd, Suzhou Tianma Pharma Group, etc., with a planned total investment of about RMB 6 billion and an estimated annual sales volume of about RMB 8 billion. The industrial agglomeration has taken shape.
