A platform dedicated to facilitating market procurement trade in Changshu City recently launched its first freight train from Suzhou West Railway Station, destined for Moscow and expected to arrive in about 16 days.

This train is carrying folding chairs, tables, clothes hangers and other goods exported through market procurement trade. The supplier, Hengheyiyuan, is located in Changshu Garment Town, an international market specializing in garments and accessories.

In early March, the platform managed to create a transport solution using the China-Europe freight trains for the company, which completed the customs clearance at Changshu Customs before the goods are transported to Russia via a streamlined freight train service.

The platform can offer comprehensive and targeted services to companies engaged in market procurement trade. Since its launch in 2019, it has supported over 20,000 small and medium-sized foreign trade enterprises, achieving a total export value of more than 70 billion yuan.

Furthermore, the platform has effectively connected with the China-Laos Railway, the China-Europe freight trains from Xuzhou and Suzhou cities, and the China-Australia Container Line to ensure cross-border logistics services.
